About Dr. Edic Stephanian
Since entering private practice in 1995, Dr. Stephanian has been an advocate for quality patient care. His efforts to provide convenient treatment options for his patients led him to offer in-office sonography services. Dr. Stephanian has a special interest in minimally invasive vein surgery and cosmetic vein ablation.
After graduating from
with a major in chemistry, Dr. Stephanian obtained his medical degree from the
. He performed his general surgery training at the
and became a board certified general surgeon in 1996. He subsequently received his vascular surgery training at
and became a board certified vascular surgeon in 1997. This certification is an indication of the additional training he received in the management of artery and vein problems.
As a member of the Texas Medical Association, The Society for Peripheral Vascular Surgery, The Society for Vascular Ultrasound, and Fellow of the
of Surgeons, he has written over 30 articles for publication in peer-reviewed medical journals and made presentations at numerous scientific meetings. Dr. Stephanian is on staff at
