About Dr. W. Stuart Johnston

Dr. W. Stuart Johnston was born and raised in South Texas. After receiving his Bachelor of Science degree from Baylor University, Dr. Johnston attended the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School and completed his surgical training at the University of Colorado. As a Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army Medical Corp, he has completed four tours of duty.

Dr. Johnston joined the practice of North Dallas Surgical Specialists in 1997. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Johnston holds membership in several professional societies including the Society of American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons and the Christian Medical & Dental Association.

Dr. Johnston enjoys spending time with his wife and children, running, attending sporting events, and participating in church activities.
