Friendly caring staff; had time to answer all my questions, and I ask a lot of questions. Accurately detailed pre and post surgery instructions (verbal and written). Called to check on me the day after surgery... I will definitely go back if the need arises.

Dear Dr. Baxter, I want to tell you how much I appreciate the great care you’ve given me. You were so patient, allowing me to get through my cancer treatment and my vacation before surgery. Your staff was also very helpful, especially your surgery scheduler, who got me scheduled and followed through to have me ready for that procedure. Dr. Bailey saved my life when my colon ruptured from HER2 cancer chemo. I was rushed into emergency and he was surgeon on call and immediately prepped me for surgery. Without his expertise and skill I would not have survived the operation. A temporary colostomy was performed and later re-connection was done by Dr. Bailey. I can not express how happy I am to have had Dr. Mark Bailey as my surgeon. He was the most gentle surgeon I have ever been operated on by. Dr. Johnston was my surgeon for bilateral breast cancer. He is very thorough, attentive and reliable. I appreciated Dr. Johnston giving me direct answers, even when my health news was not always favorable. He educated me along the way, communicated appropriately with my oncologist and was very good at explaining the next steps in my treatment plan.

Dr. Bailey performed a thyroid lobectomy and it was quick, easy, and pain-free. When I called his office to learn the pathology results, he came to the phone to give me the results personally. I consider this above and beyond normal procedure. He listens and answers questions easily and completely. I would definitely recommend him as an outstanding, caring, surgeon.
